Finding home decor and furniture online can be tough! There are SO many options out there and often times a Google search for ‘couch’ leads you to the same online store you’ve been 100 times before. It’s time to broaden horizons and check out what else the world wide web has to offer. Here, we rounded up our favorite online home decor brands that you need to check out this weekend!
We have known about Homegirl Collection for ages now and have seen her shop name pop up in our Instagram feed quite often this month because of a collaboration we did with interior designer, Emily Brownell from Gildedhearth. Emily styled her living room in a several different ways using decor from small shops around Los Angeles and to create unique looks with just a few swaps of decor. No heavy furniture swaps needed!
What you can find: Homegirl Collection has indigo throws, rugs, and pillows with amazing fabric styles to choose from. Indigo, chinese embroidered, hmong, velvet, batik, linen, etc. You’ll definitely find a one of a kind vintage goodie here!
Justina Blakeney is becoming quite a household name in home decor. You may have heard of a little book she wrote called The New Bohemians. She’s been featured in Vogue, Good Housekeeping, Elle Decor, and Oprah magazine to name a few.
What you can find: What can’t you find is more like it! She’s got it all: quilts, chandeliers, pillows, hanging planters, art, lighting, and ceramics. The list goes on and on and definitely fits within the bohemian vibe if that’s a look you are going for.
Like the Jungalow, Eclectic Goods has MUCH more to offer besides pillows and rugs.
What you can find: Here you can find lighting, accessories, and furniture including large pieces like dining tables and sofas. Everything is incredibly affordable too, even the bigger pieces!
Kennedy Rose Interiors:
We found Kennedy Rose Interiors on Instagram. With an inspiring and colorful, seriously, go look, COLORFUL feed, it’s no surprise that we fell in love fast. If you’ve ever wanted to head to the Rose Bowl Flea market for a good home decor find, but couldn’t bare the thought of the heat and crowds, let Jessica do it for you! She heads there once a month to find the best deals on rugs.
What you can find: Colorful rugs galore. There are plenty of sizes and price ranges to choose from too! She also has a handful of pillows to choose from too! New rugs are listed on the site every Friday at 9AM PST. and they offer Free shipping in the Continental US and Flat Rate $75 shipping to Canada.
Of course we are going to add our own little home decor shop to this list. At Homies, we carry handcrafted, well-traveled decor for you and your homies.
What you can find: Homies is most well known for the wide variety of accent pillows we carry. The extra long lumbars are the most popular item on the site by a landslide. If you aren’t looking for pillows, we’ve also got Moroccan pom blankets, poufs, wall art and more! We offer Free US shipping and extra long pillows include inserts. Win, win!
Loom & Kiln:
Mark this site a *Must see. Loom & Kiln has been one of my favorite shops to peruse for a long time now and with one look at their products, you’ll see why!
What you can find: Here you can find an wide assortment of decor randing from rugs and pillows to ceramics and art. The variety of products continues to grow every few months it seems. They just added a line of kitchen items that you have to check out.
Have you ever used the feature where you can find other similar accounts in Instagram to the profile you’re visiting? Let me tell you, this is a gold feature for an instagram super user like me and exactly how I stumbled upon Collectiv Co.
What you can find: Collectiv Co offers a wide assortment of pillows, blankets and vintage rugs. One of my favorite products she carries is the Pom Pom Baby Kantha quilts. They are so small and so adorable! And if you are looking for small lumbar pillows, this is the place to be. If you’ve been on the lookout for those amazing velvet round pillows you’ve been seeing more and more lately too, she’s got them!
Another goodie found via, where else, but Instagram! The name says it all. If you are looking for bohemian home decor, this is a great place to go!
What you can find: Here you can find rugs, blankets, poufs, baskets. There is so much shaggy, comfy goodness happening on this site. You will want to touch everything here. Spoiler alert: you can’t. But if you order, you can have it at home permanently!
The Little Market:
If you are looking for fair trade, ethically sourced artisan goods, look no further than The Little Market. This shop has the perfect gift for ANY woman in your life, I swear. Each product tells you exactly who made it and about the country of the artisans. Gotta love the extra heart put into each item.
What you can find: From kitchen utensils, to candles, to woven bowls, which are one of my absolute favorites, you will be sure to find something you can’t live without on this site. They offer Free shipping on orders over $250, and believe me, you won’t have a hard time adding things to your cart on this site.
Stepping even further away from just selling accessories, is Article, an online furniture store that has been featured in Forbes, Bloomberg, Apartment Therapy and the NY Times.
What you can find: From small to larger pieces of furniture, they have it all - bed frames, dining tables, sofas, coffee tables and more. One of my favorite parts of this site is seeing how their customers style their decor in their homes on the product pages. It really gives you inspiration for how it could look in your own home. Big bonus!
I hope we were able to introduce you to a shop that you hadn't heard of before, and that your shopping cart now overfloweth!
