Welcome to the 2nd installment of What We're Loving! Each month, we'll be sharing all the things we stumbled upon and felt compelled to share this month. We're talking recipes, products, new books, and most importantly, decor. Check back every month to see what's inspiring us.
This trendy color inspired by the colors of Fall
We just did an entire blog post on incorporating this color into your home. While some call it rust, others call it burn orange or terracotta, I call it GORGEOUS. The post is filled with ideas on how you can use it in your home, from bedding, to furniture to accessories.

DIY Cane Furniture
I'm ready to swap out our living room media console with something lighter and brighter and I continue to circle back to the Cane Furniture I'm seeing all over my social feeds. The problem with these book cases and media consoles is that they are in the $900 - $2,500 range! But the Pinterest home decor DIY bloggers didn't let me down. A quick search for 'DIY Cane Furniture' led me to some simple and more importantly, CHEAP hacks. Both of these DIY projects are using furniture from Ikea as the base which cuts the costs down significantly. But if you're able to find a dresser or similar bookshelf on Craigslist, you might even cut these costs in half.

Tropical Wallpaper Backdrops
Chances are you've seen banana leaf wall paper making its way across an HGTV home flipping show or two this year. But this vintage looking palm tree look has got me all sorts of in love.

Safari & Beach Hats as Art
I've seen gallery walls made of African baskets (Check this out from Old Brand New), but hats used to make a gallery wall is next level. Don't try this at home with baseball caps people! A nice assortment of colors and styles turns a wall full of hats into a piece of art.
Painted Wall Nooks
OK ladies and gents, this wall painting hack is one heckuva way to create an illusion of a wall inlet or other backdrop for your and wall in your home.
