What We're Loving: July Edition

Welcome to the first installment of What We're Loving! Honestly, I can't think of a better time to start a this new category on the blog. I don't know about you, but I am finding new products daily that I must 'Add to cart' and finding new recipes from bloggers that seriously deserve an award and cash prize. It truly is the little things in life that bring us joy, and that's what this category is all about! Each month, we'll be sharing all the things we stumbled upon and loved. We're talking recipes, products, new books, and decor. Check back monthly to see what we're loving!

Brit + Co did a partnership with Sherwin Williams to transform this staircase with paint and OH EM GEE.

They transformed this staircase 8 different ways using different colors and patterns. This version of the design was my favorite. Subtle color and subtle pattern, but still eye catching! Check out the other designs they did here.

Coffee Cake Banana Bread

I made this recipe from a blog I stumbled upon called A Latte Food. It came out of the oven at 10:32AM Saturday and both loaves were gone by Sunday evening post dinner.  There are TWO of us. One loaf per person. We're ashamed, and 2 lbs. heavier, but it was worth it. I wouldn't change a thing in this recipe, but may suggest adding a scoop of ice cream on top if you do decide to eat as dessert before bed!

A Makeshift Wall Made of Hanging Macrame Planters

The entry way to this Spanish bungalow in Long Beach, CA had me do a double take AND a double tap. With plants blocking one side of the entrance, a set of macrame planters went up above and created a makeshift wall. Follow Blanco Bungalow for more interior design tips!

Dried Sun Spears and Palm Leaves in Home Decor

Dried floral arrangements are having a moment. And with no watering required, who doesn't love this trend? I'm seeing dried Palm leaves above beds, and gorgeous arrangements adorning dining tables. But this dried sun spear in this neutral bathroom by Almost Makes Perfect takes the cake.

A Cozy Spot For One

Egg chairs are the perfect place to curl up in on the patio and read a book or sip a cocktail. The walls add an extra dose of comfort, creating a safe space to relax. Grab a blanket and a few more outdoor pillows, and you are set. Plus, look at how cute they are! This Egg Chair can be found at Target.

Pool Time With a Splash of Fun

You may have a pool. Your pool is not as fun as this one. Check out this hand-painted beauty by @AlexProba. It has vacation mode in Palm Springs written all over it. But this isn't the only pool she's hand-painted. Check out her instagram to see all of her work.

Hunter green everything

This month, I'm seeing more and more hunter green introduced into homes.  From paneled walls, refurbished dressers, sliding barn doors, and so much more, this color is really making a splash. Here are some of my favorites!
